Thanks to all the volunteers!

VOLUNTEERS ARE KEY
TO THE SUCCESS OF OUR LODGE.

JOIN US BY OFFERING TO VOLUNTEER. IT'S A GREAT WAY TO GET TO KNOW OTHER MEMBERS AND HAVE FUN.

Contact to Christina and/or Julia at:
[email protected] or 360-779-5209
Our lodge is looking for volunteers, whatever your passion or interest, to assist*:
  • Around the Grounds:  Maintain the garden beds; clear out weeds from parking lot and sidewalks.
  • Trivia Hosting:  Sign up to host a Thursday trivia night and try to stump the reigning teams.
  • Hosting for Events:  Hosts are required when non-members rent our facilities.  The host, during the event, acts as a liaison between the lodge and client.  Hosts provide information about the building to the client and monitor the event.
  • Pancake Breakfasts: Breakfast is open to the public the first Sunday of the month.
  • Building Association:  Have a building skill?  This group operates and oversees the lodge's maintenance and upkeep.
  • Leikarringen Norwegian Youth Folk Dancers:  Assist with bunad and sølje repair; organize the distribution and then collection of dance outfits; repair/clean the outfits.
  • Friday Night Dinners: Have a favorite recipe to share with the lodge?  Volunteer crews prepare and serve dinner in the members'-only Trolls' Den.
* Food Worker Card is required for food-related service.

Volunteers Needed for our Friday Night Dinners for things besides cooking.
Check it out below.  We need you!

We want to ensure  our guests feel warmly welcomed and checked in as they arrive for our gatherings.

The role of the volunteer would be to greet guests, check them in, and provide any necessary information or directions and possibly sell dinners on Square.

It's a great opportunity to meet new people, be the friendly face that sets the tone for the evening, and contribute to the positive experience of our Friday Night Dinners.

If you are available on some Fridays and would like to volunteer for this important role, please let us know. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided.

Contact Christina and/or Julia at [email protected]
or 360/779-5209 for more information.
