Our rental venue can accommodate small and large gatherings, as we have two rental spaces available, both with views of Library Bay.  The Viking Room is perfect for smaller gatherings, while the Marine Room is grand and spacious.  It is perfect for weddings, birthdays, business events, baby showers, and celebrations of life.

VENUE RENTAL

Sons of Norway in Poulsbo offers the best full-day rates in Kitsap County. Located in the heart of historic downtown Poulsbo, on a quaint, shop-lined street, the building is on the waterfront, overlooking beautiful Liberty Bay.  Hosting your function at our Lodge is unique for visitors who have not been to the area and would enjoy the town's Nordic theme.  See also Weddings.

Two lovely, adaptable rooms - the Marine Room and the Viking Room - are available for all types of events from weddings, class reunions, exhibitions, meetings, memorials, fundraisers, and special events.  Outside food/catering is welcome.  Photos of both rooms are below on this page.  Please scroll down to see them.

In picturesque Poulsbo, the Sons of Norway's Grieg Hall adjoins Liberty Bay Waterfront Park and Austin-Kvelstad Pavilion.  The Pavilion may be reserved through Poulsbo Parks & Recreation Department for a wedding ceremony in conjunction with a reception at the lodge.

EVENT RENTAL FAQS
What do I need to do in order to secure the space?
  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your date.
  • Remainder of rental fees are to be paid at the time of Agreement.

What if I need to cancel my event?
100% of rental fees are refunded with 120 days' notice.

Is there on-site parking?
Two free Poulsbo city parking lots are within one block of the lodge. Easy handicap access from lodge's parking lot. For guests arriving from Seattle, it’s a 15-minute drive from the ferry terminal.

Is dancing allowed?
Yes, both rental rooms have hardwood floors.

Can I use an outside caterer?
Outside food/catering is welcome.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
It is possible to bring outside alcohol. You will be required to obtain your own permits, ice, glassware, and pay a corkage fee. Bartender and liquor service can be arranged through the lodge.

Please visit the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board website (https://lcb.wa.gov) to obtain the appropriate liquor license for your event.
You are responsible for all items necessary for bar service including bartender(s).

Wireless internet is available throughout the building.
