Visit our lodge on Liberty Bay to experience Norwegian street food, Scandinavian vendors, and a Lucia Bride ushered to shore in a Viking boat! The evening culminates with the annual bonfire, where you'll witness the Viking King's Winter Solstice Proclamation.
At dusk, the Poulsbo Sons of Norway Vikings will escort the Santa Lucia Bride by boat to shore, where she will be escorted to light the JuleFest bonfire, followed by the Vikings' reading of the Winter Solstice Proclamation. It's not often you can hang out with some friendly Vikings.
NOTE TO MEMBERS: The Trolls' Den will permit only one (1) guest per member to enter, and there is a $10 cover charge for guests. No exceptions.
Members must present their membership card. Both members and guests must show their driver's license.
Join us for our annual tradition of Julefest and Taste of Norway at the Poulsbo Sons. And the Nordic Market is back with a splash that day from 10am to 4pm, also hosted at the Lodge. Indulge in sweet treats, jellies, jams, and delightful gingerbread to satisfy your holiday cravings.
Jewelry enthusiasts will find stunning Celtic pieces, Simply Scandic Jewelry, and hand-carved ornaments to add a touch of elegance to the season’s decor.
Cozy fleece blankets, embroidered towels, and knitted accessories, like hats, gloves, and mittens, will keep you warm this winter, making it the perfect opportunity to find gifts for loved ones – or to treat yourself.
In addition to shopping, the Julefest Nordic Market will be filled with activities for all ages. Enjoy a warm cup of tea while browsing through handmade cards, placemats, bookmarks, and more.
