The Poulsbo Sons of Norway Vikings are a vital part of our Lodge and play an essential role in the culture of our town. Like all groups within the Lodge, the Vikings foster camaraderie, friendship, volunteerism, and community involvement, making a positive impact both locally and beyond.
The Vikings help shape the spirit of Little Norway by offering unique experiences for both residents and visitors to Poulsbo. One of the most beloved traditions is their torch-lit parade down Front Street, leading to the lighting of bonfires at Waterfront Park—a sight that captivates everyone who witnesses it.
Beyond their appearances at our Lodge, the Poulsbo Sons of Norway Vikings are active participants in numerous community events. They proudly march in the 4th of July Parade in Silverdale, speak at local high schools about Viking history, and engage in festive activities, such as handing out Valentine's cards at Martha & Mary’s on Valentine's Day.
The Vikings of the Poulsbo Sons of Norway are more than just a group within the Lodge; they are an integral part of what makes Poulsbo truly feel like Little Norway. Their passion for sharing the heritage and connecting with the community helps preserve the rich traditions that make our town so unique.
