• Memorial Service and Closing Awards Banquet
• Raffle basket drawing

Plus cultural presentations, Ski for Light, Trollhaugen, breakout sessions, folk music, craft/cooking demos, speakers/presenters, memorial, etc.

Folkekunstkonkurranse: Folk Art Competition
​It’s time to start working on projects for the 2026 Folk Art Competition.  Projects must be completed in the two years since the last Convention.

Whether you're an expert or beginner, allow us to admire your work!

Utlodning: Raffle 
​Each lodge participates in this fundraiser by providing an auction basket for a drawing to be held on Saturday at the banquet.  Baskets donated by individuals are encouraged also.  Themes are wonderfully popular:  Local items from your area, nordic food, rosemaling, books, sports, wine, chocolates, beauty basics, gnomes and trolls.  Bring your basket to the Convention.

​Bunad Parade: 28 mai 2026

Buttons polished? Silver shining? It’s bunad time! Convention members are invited to don their Norwegian bunad and march in our Bunad Parade at the opening dinner—a colorful, joyful highlight of the weekend.

​Let’s fill the banquet with tradition, pride, and a whole lot of Nordic flair!

What is the dress code for the Convention?

Delegates and Committee members:  Business casual
District Officers:  Business attire
President's Reception and Evening Banquet:  Bunads or semi-formal dress
Regalia is to be worn by District Officers during all convention sessions.
Shorts, t-shirts and other casual attire is not to be worn during convention sessions.
