Heritage Skills
Cooking
- Members meet several times during the year to prepare traditional Norwegian foods (e.g, lefse, krumkake, etc.). Newcomers and beginners are welcome.
- Volunteers can also help prepare traditional foods for the Wednesday Kaffe Stua lunches.

Dance (adult)
- Learn and enjoy traditional Scandinavian dances. For both beginner and experienced dancers. Monday evenings (7-9pm), September-June.

Dance (youth) "Leikarringen"
- Join one of the largest youth Norwegian dance groups in the country. For children ages 5-18. September-May. (Monday practices)

Genealogy
- The lodge has held past genealogy workshops. If you are interested in forming a lodge genealogy group, let the lodge office know so you learn of others with the same interest.

Heritage camps
- Leading up to Midsommer Fest, the lodge conducts a 3-day summer day camp for children ages 7-14. (June)
- The Sons of Norway District 2 also holds several summer overnight youth camps in Washington & Oregon.
Nordic Needleworkers
- A group of beginner and experienced fiber artists (e.g., hardanger, embroidery, knitting, rosesaun, etc.) meet at the lodge. Newcomers welcome. (Fridays, noon).
Films, presentations, visiting artists
- Various world-renown Norwegian films, visiting speakers and artists come to the lodge throughout the year. Watch the calender and the Maken for notices on upcoming opportunities.
Norwegian Language Lessons
Rosemaling
- Norwegian decorative painting. Instruction temporarily on hold until a new instructor is found. Some instruction available at Bremerton SoN.

- Men's chorus with traditional Norwegian repertoire. (Thursdays, 7:30-9:00pm)

Cultural Skills Awards Program
- Attain various award levels in fourteen skill areas. Become a specialist in one or a few areas, go for a generalist pin, or shoot-the-works and give the lodge another Master or Mentor of cultural skills.

Wood Carving
- Learn various forms (e.g., chip, figure, relief, etc.) of wood carving with the North Kitsap Woodcarvers Guild. Beginners to advanced welcome. (Thursdays, 6-9pm)
